A tranquil & calm garden in Donnington

To provide a well balanced scheme for the client, across both the front and rear gardens of her house in Donnington.

A 1950s ex-council house which has a small front garden and the benefit of a wrap around rear and side garden on a wonderful south facing plot, which is both airy and open.

The overall scheme will need to restore life and vitality to the garden, which has been missing for some years after the poor installation of the previous design back in 2011. Tranquility and calm are important, as the garden needs to be relaxing for the client for years to come.

From a practical standpoint, a new fruit and vegetable garden is needed, a revised driveway, gateway and parking, a raised terrace off the conservatory, increased privacy, several places to sit and take in the garden and a delicate, yet exquisite planting scheme, which works hard from March - October, but retains interest and structure through the winter.
