ADAM VETERE
Award-winning Garden Designer Hampshire
Adam Vetere is an award-winning, experienced and innovative garden designer in Hampshire. He won the Best in Houzz awards for Design and Service in 2020 and 2021, and graduated from the London College of Garden Design in 2019. Adam regularly travels around the world, visiting gardens in varying climates from desert to tropical, gathering garden design ideas, theories and variations on new planting schemes which can be used in future designs.
Innovative Design
“I’ve designed gardens both large and small, town or country, drawing upon inspiration from the four corners of the world, utilising my passion for plants and inspirational design.”
Adam is an accomplished landscape and garden designer, having created his first designs in the early 1990s at a reputable landscape design and construction company. He worked there for several years before a subtle change of career.
Whilst working at the landscape design company, Adam had the opportunity put his extensive graphical design training to good use as he built and constructed designs which we were both visionary and practical. Through this, Adam gained a better understanding of the practical and budgetary limits of the materials and the time needed to implement a design scheme.
Adam later moved into business and financial design, taking on a role where the need for design and the future were key concerns; how will the business grow, how will it develop, how will it succeed in a particular environment? These are all the fundamentals that a great garden designer needs to understand, along with the climate, the plants, their positioning and their companions.

Gardens in Hampshire
Hampshire is home to a great number of countryside locations with gardens that you can visit. Adam's own garden, Old Camps, is occasionally opened to the public under the National Garden Scheme, and was featured in Hampshire Life in 2018.
The Sir Harold Hillier Gardens in Romsey, on the other hand, can be visited year-round. The gardens were established by the distinguished plantsman Sir Harold Hillier in 1953, and now they are one of the most important modern plant collections in the world, housing 14 National Collections and thousands of plants from temperate regions. The location also has one of the largest Winter Gardens in Europe.
