Adam Vetere is an inspirational and innovative garden designer in Newbury and the Berkshire area, experienced in horticulture, graphic design, practical landscaping and business design. He has worked on a variety of projects big and small, creating small town house gardens and managing multi acre schemes for large country homes. Adam graduated from the London College of Garden Design in 2019, and won two Best of Houzz awards in 2020 for Design and Service.

Adam is an accomplished designer, having created his first designs in the early 1990s at a reputable landscape design and construction company and working with them for several years.
He had the opportunity put his extensive graphical design training to good use as he built and constructed designs which we were both visionary and practical. Through this, Adam gained a greater understanding of the practical and budgetary limits of the materials and the time needed to implement a design scheme.
Adam later had a subtle change of career into business and financial design, taking on a role where the need for design and the future were key concerns; how will the business grow, how will it develop, how will it succeed in a particular environment? These are all the fundamentals that a great garden designer needs to understand with the climate, the plants, their positioning and their companions.

Gardens in Newbury
There are a variety of beautiful gardens in the Newbury area which you can visit, including the gardens at Victoria Park and Highclere Park. Old Camps, Adam's own garden, is located in Headley, Thatcham, about 4 miles south-east of Newbury.
Old Camps is situated on the site of a Roman encampment, and the gardens, finished in 2016, were designed to be good for the soul and mind in the fast pace of everyday life today.
