Adam Vetere is an innovative, experienced, and multi-award-winning garden designer in Surrey. After graduating from the London College of Garden Design in 2019, he has gone on to complete numerous prize-winning projects. Adam regularly visits gardens around the world in varying climates from desert to tropical, gathering ideas, theories and variations on new planting schemes which can be used in future designs. He is enthused by his continued passion for plants and inspirational design.

In the early 1990s, Adam worked at a reputable landscape design and construction company, where he created his first designs. These designs were both visionary and practical, as he built up an understanding of the practical and budgetary limits of the materials and the time needed to implement a design scheme. Adam was able to put his extensive graphical design training to good use and develop his skills to become an accomplished landscape designer.
A subtle change of career led Adam into the business and financial design sector, in a role where the need for design and the future were key concerns. Some of the questions he faced were: how will the business grow, how will it develop, how will it succeed in a particular environment? These are all the fundamentals that a great garden designer needs to understand, with the climate, the plants, their positioning and their companions.

AWARD-WINNING GARDEN DESIGN
As a professional garden designer in Surrey and across the south of England, Adam Vetere has received several awards and award nominations from organisations that are highly influential in the garden design sector.
Adam was named Designer of the Year 2022 by the Association of Professional Landscapers (APL) and has received accolades from them for many of his garden design projects. In addition, his ‘Japanese Inspired Garden’ won an award at the Pro Landscaper Project Awards in 2023, and the ‘Treetop Garden’ project earned two awards at the Society of Garden Designers Awards 2024.
Not only do these awards demonstrate how outstanding the garden designs that Adam creates truly are, but they also strengthen his reputation for excellence.
